ACCELERATE: The Program Series for Changemakers

The ACCELERATE Program Series is an ongoing series of action-oriented intensive courses focused on key topics on the cutting edge of the impact investing space. 

These trainings are designed for wealth holders and their teams, and will feature two key topics in 2025:

• Investing for Systems Change: May 21st-23rd, 2025, Zurich, Switzerland @ University of Zurich
• Multicapital Strategies for Impact: November 3rd-5th, 2025, Boston, MA, USA @ MIT Sloan

May 21st-23rd

At the University of Zurich, Switzerland

Impact investing aims for positive change, but falls short without a structure systemic approach. Packed with guest speakers, this training will convene the pioneers who are bringing systems transformation and impact investing together, covering topics such as:

• How to pinpoint the most impactful financial levers within a system
• How to bring a systems approach to collaborating with key stakeholders in the pursuit of a shared goal
• Critical systems skills needed to tackle global challenges

This program is for you if you are a private investor and:

• You want to feel more confident that your capital is working to create the maximum level of change possible
• You want to get your investments and investment team aligned with a systems change approach
• You want to understand how the concept of systems is understood within the impact investing community
• You are curious about the possibility of investing for systems change, but aren't sure where to start

Wealth holders tend to disproportionately well-resourced-beyond just financial capital. In this session, the following topics will be covered:

• How to think about the different kinds of capital: Understand the various forms at your disposal, beyond just financial resources
• Workshops to help you map your capitals: Engage in exercised designed to identify your available social, exonomic, cultural, and symbolic capital
• Leveraging your capital for systemic change: Learn strategies to combine your economic capital with other forms of capital to drive significant change 

Who should participate:

• Private impact investors seeking to leverage hidden forms of capital
• Individual philanthropists aiming to strategically combine resources
• Family office members attending with clients, helping them to maximize their impact
