Philip has 15 years experience investing in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds in emerging markets.  Previously Partner and Head of Private Equity at Obviam, Philip oversaw the Team that was responsible for building the funds portfolio of the Swiss Development Finance Institution. From 2010 to 2023, Philip’s team deployed over USD 600m to 66 funds. The portfolio included 595 companies across 80 emerging and frontier markets supported 483,253 jobs, generated 5,159 GWh of clean energy and avoided 4.9 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, a member of the UN Secretariat that developed and launched the UN PRI, Philip helped spark a global responsible investment movement.
