Short Biography

Anna Tervahartiala is the former Head of Communication of CSP and currently focusing on social justice and human rights topics whilst completing a MAS on International Law in Armed Conflict & Human Rights at the Geneva Academy. In addition to her work at CSP, Anna is the Vice-Chair of the foreign and security policy think tank Elisabeth Rehn - Bank of Ideas and an independent communications consultant.

Before joining the CSP, Anna worked in the humanitarian sector managing the global communication activities of a humanitarian think tank present in more than 25 countries and deployed to humanitarian emergencies. Prior to that, she worked in the intersection of peacebuilding, religion and diplomacy, and traveled across continents as a journalist and photographer. In addition, she was the Editor-in-Chief of a leading Finnish online magazine dedicated to foreign affairs created and maintained by a team of 100 volunteer editors, writers, and experts.
